Our first daughter's name is Madeline Jane and so far we have come up w/ Macy for a first name but we need the middle name - and we have a list of names we can not use (Elizabeth, Nicole, Marie, & Renee) any other suggestions?

My daughter's middle name is Helene and I used that in remembrance of my grandmother who was named Helen. I think using the name of a beloved family member or friend is a nice way to honor someone who means a lot to you.

Well, I am partial to Catheryn. My little girl's middle name is Catheryn and I think it is one of the most beautiful names out there. It also has special meaning for me. Macy Catheryn has a nice ring to it...Good Luck!

Oh ... I love so many of these names. I have six girls and one boy. All of their names come from family members. All the girls have variations of my mothers name as their middle name. Each name is significant and a blend of family and meaning - I love hyphenating in names it kind of feels like joining the special people in their lives with them forever.

We have:

Kaitlin Mary-Rose, Allaina-Jean Marie, Adelaide Margaret May-Belle, Marguerite Lucinda Marie, Evangeline Maria Patrice, Alexandra Maiya-Rose and our little boy who is actually number 2 is Charles David Vincent.

I love Grace and Rose and Leigh and Raine oh ... and of course Alexandra (our new babe gets Lexie for short)

What about ....Macy Rosa-Leigh?

All the best though, I'm sure when you see your baby the name that you choose will fit beautifully - amazing ... it always does.

I love the name Macy and have it on my list of baby names should I have a girl. I thought of a few more combinations that I like - Macy Alexandra, Macy Elaine, Macy Brennan, Macy Rae.

I dug into my family history and found a wonderful middle name for my little boy, Pelham Madison. Maybe you could find something beautiful with the plus of being a family name

Quoting Katie:

We didnt pick a middle name until a couple days before having our daughter. Haha we just knew we wanted it to start with an A. Is there a certain letter you would like? Like you have 2 M first names, do you want middle to be both J?
I like Macy Grace and I like Macy Lynn someone suggested. Macy Lee. Macy Ann

I agree that Macy Grace has an awesome ring to it!

I know a Macy Frances (named after her grandmother). I like Macy Brianne or Macy Ann. Macy Raine is pretty. Do you have any special family names you can use? Including your maiden name or your mother's maiden name?

I reccommend using a family name. Possibly from a great grandparent or grandparent that has passed or from someone you are close to. This way there is some thought and meaning to there name. Their first name is their own but the middle name carries some history. My daughter is a 4th generation Marie and my son has my husbands first name as his middle name. Hope this helps
