Quoting Claire:
Hi Amanda, I have three children of my own the eldest is 14 and the youngest is 3, all three of them at some time in their lives when they were younger spent time playing musuical beds with me. If it dosent bother you with her being in your bed and you both get a good nights sleep, let her sleep with you. Shes not a tiny baby anymore so theres less of a risk of you rolling on her and hurting her in your sleep. It looks like she just wants to be near you lots, take it as a compliment, she loves you to bits by the sound of it. As for the running around bit, thats perfectly normal, my three year all dosent stop, hes got far too much energy. once she starts nursery or pre school youll soon see a change, especialy when she starts playing with children her own age, they wear each other out. claire

I have a 2 1/2 year old little boy who has never really spent a true night sleeping in his own bed. He takes his naps in his room but there is something about the night time where he won't sleep in his room. I put a twin sized mattress on the floor next to my bed and that's where he sleeps. That way I have my space and he feels close to me. If he wakes up in the middle of the night for any reason, I don't have to get up - I just reach over and pat his back...find what works for you guys and go with it. Look at it like this - she isn't going to be 16 and sleeping in your room. Apparently, it is what she needs right now in order to feel secure. Around the age of 2 is when they really begin to develop a personality and with that comes with certain fears. Brayden always talks about how dinasours are in the dark. Also, try a night light it might work! Good luck!
