I'm trying to get my 1 year old to drink water, but she always spit it out when we give it to her... Do anyone have any suggestions on getting her to drink water?

Why the rush for water? Most 1 year olds still need lots of milk (breast is best, but whole milk is usually ok for this age, too). It is good to branch out on beverages (except no rush on fruit juices, which are mostly sugar while the redeeming parts of the fruit are missing) to keep her hydrated, but unless she's getting dehydrated, I don't see an issue.
If you want her to drink water, you might consider making it a part of bathtime play. My little guy loves putting hsi face in the water, blowing bubbles, and practicing drinking from a non-sippy cup in a place where you can't make a mess. Make it fun, not stressful. And be sure to drink lots of water in front of her. Toddlers really like copying what the grown-ups are doing!
