We are working on potty training also. My son won't use the potty, but he loves his big boy undies. So, we just put them on over his diaper. He enjoys it a lot. I started using his underwear because he got to where he would take off his pants and diaper and would run around with his birdie flying, peeing all over the place. He won't have anything to do with his potty yet, so this was a good solution for us so that he would keep his diaper on.
We don't force him to use the potty, but getting him used to his underwear is a good a start for us. It makes him feel like a big boy and a lot of times he just runs around in them and won't put on pants.

ha, thats good Retta ! my boy has just turned 3 & is just trained now. i work as home day care & am training children all the time.. it is HARD ! all children are different and do what they want. i would say to him you are a big boy now, big boys wear undies. they will wet themselves where ever / when ever ! but thats the training part ! rewards work well too. they think they are really good when they get rewarded for something, so they keep doing it. well good luck trying. :)

My son started potty training early (14 months) on his own but a friend of mine just made going potty a game...she would put a few cherios in the toilet and tell him for eveyone he peed on he would get a penny for his piggy bank, after about 3 weeks he was fully potty trained!! Hope this helps.
