I completely agree with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser! It's saved so many things in my house, i always keep them in stock!

Try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser if it is a smooth hard surface (like plastic or china) or Goo Gone for a 'dimpled surface' (like the american girl dolls). Goo Gone also works some on fabric if it's a cloth doll
