My oldest was a joy in the car too...I know they make a dramamine for children....ceck with your pediatrician, they also make these bracelets that fit kind of snug but they rest on a pressure point on the wrist and they really do work, my son had sensory issues so we did not have luck keeping them on him. but other friends swear by them....good luck

try not to give her anything with sugar in it before your trip and during it. i noticed that always triggered my sons car sickness. also if she's in a forward facing car seat, try to put her in the middle of the back seat if it's possible, or try a rear facing. sometimes it's seeing all the things outside the window out of the corner of their eyes that causing it.

My daughter always got sick in the car. So I got a DVD player and whenever we go somewhere she watches a movie. Kind of takes her attention away from feeling sick. Ive never had a problem since and even took her on an 8 hour road trip and she was perfectly fine.

When I was a kid we always had gingersnaps for long car trips to combat carsickness.

I believe you can use it for a toddler, If you contact your pediatrician he will tell you the amount that they may take.

Hi, there's a medication that is sold over the counter named dramamine. I buy it when I fly, its used for motion sickness. Try it should help!

Ginger is good for Car sickness and so are lemons. My daughter (19months) LOVES lemons so I get her to suck on a slice of lemon every time she says she feels sick. Otherwise you can make some ginger tea or buy ginger beer and get him/her to slowly drink it from their sippy cup. There are herbal tablets but you need to check if they are suitable for little ones.

With you child being that age, i would recommend talking to your pediatrician. There is nothing that is over-the-counter for a child that young. I wish that I had a solution for you but that is the only things that you can do at this point.
