My daughter is working on having great character. She is just starting to get the contentment and polietness. She Is 2 2/3 and will say please and thank you without being prompted 90% of the time. I think her flaw is that I need to do a better job leading by example. Thanx for you help.

Cool. Thanks. i'm in the process of teaching my daughter to just be nice. lol...so far she kisses me/the dog/the cat when I tell her to be nice and to say sorry. lol...she cant say she's sory yet in words, but she shows it =]

Beautiful! I'm working on those with mine right now, but he's just about gotten them down pat. Other than the attentiveness.... A lot of it is simple monkey see, monkey do. So I say please and thank you, as well as giving him an opportunity to voice complaints (respectfully) after he's obeyed me.
