ok well I have an issue my 3 year old daughter has been waking up at like 3 in the morning like twice a week crying (more like screaming) that her leg hurts. My mom thinks it is her way of getting attention but at 3? She goes to bed at 8:30 and is dead asleep when she wakes up. it used to happen alot between 1-2 but slowed down to like once a month but now it is getting bad any suggestions on what it is or how I can stop it?

My neice is 2 (3 next month) as well as my daughter, but my neice has the same problem. She'll wake up screaming more than twice a night sometimes. I also think it's growing pains. We usually give her some tylenol for the cramps and rub her legs until she calms down. My brother and I used to get them too, just like that. Growing pains are really awful, but some kids get them horribly. Maybe she's gonna be a tall girl!!

i stood barefoot on the cold garage floor (in january!) to ease leg cramps that woke me up gasping while i was pregnant.

Sounds like growing pains. I remember my mother making me stand in the bath tub when it happened ot me (the tub was cold and the cold would ease the pain).
