So recently my son has been petrified to go to sleep at night. So I tried everything I could to make him feel safe. He told me that it was a noise by the bathroom (that is actually connected to his room).. its actually the pipes in the walls making an "errrrrr" noise. He hates it apparently and it scares him to the point where he getting out of his toddler bed to kick and scream and bang on his door. So I put a boombox on his dresser and put on some lullabye music on for him on repeat. He seemed to like it but then would wake up between the hours of 2 and 4 am screaming for me again. I'm thinking that noisy wall pipes isn't the only issue here. I think he just wants to snuggle with me and be with me 24/7. I was wondering if maybe I switched his room and the guest room... that way he'll be closer to me and feel more safe. He could still have it decorated in his elmo stuff, just a different room. I think maybe if I made a big deal out of it he would get really excited. I have run out of ideas at this point obviously, let me know all/any suggestions!
