We're big into "dippies". We let her dip her veggies in some kind of yummy dip. Maybe yours could even dip into the mash potatoes.

V-8 splash.....LITE

All kinds of flavors and they get a serving of veg

Don't forget vitamins.....

keep offering her very small amounts of new things along with the things she likes.

Grow some veggies of your own and let her help plant them etc...

Good luck...I have a stand off with my 2 1/2 year old just to take a bite of something new......ONE BITE....so, he sits in his chair until he does and he is soooo proud of himself after he does it. Even if he hates it.....too funny!!

Good luck

Does she eat fries? I mix sweet potato fries in with my daughters regular ones. They're better for her and she really can't notice the difference. They sell them in the freezer section. It's nice when you want to fix a quick lunch a couple times a week.

I chop mine with a really sharp knife until they're tiny and then steam them until soft and mix through his favourite food. Because he can't taste and hardly see them he gobbles it all up. I buy vegies like fresh beetroots and fresh brussel sprouts and chop them until tiny with carrot and red capsicum..... anything rich in red colour is anti oxidant rich. Chopped with a big sharp knife until miniscule is the easiest way! Good luck!

MY 4 yr old has to eat his mashed potatoes with meat. usually with any veggies they dont eat..... I give them a little everynight... and eventually they do try it.... otherwise we have came accross some great vitamins. NUTRILITE kids Chewable concentrated fruits and vegetables supplement. they say 1 tablet for ages 4-12... but I give my 2 yr old 1/2 tablet. Even my oldest and pickiest eater loves them.

I'm not sure if this will help a kid who really dislikes the vegetables, but when I get home from work, my 22 m/o is hungry and cranky, so I microwave a cup of mixed veggies as soon as I get in the door.  He's so hungry he eats them and it buys me a half hour of relative peace to make dinner.  I might put some kind of veggie on his plate at dinnertime, but it's rarely eaten in favour of the starches and meat.

My daughter is not a big eater. Her food portions are small but she still eats them.I dont worry anymore because if they are hungry they will eat..If my daughter dosent eat vegies, throughout the day she nibbles on olives, fetta, fruits, dips, biscuits and so forth she still eats her dinner even if iots a couple of mouthfuls.I give her vitamin supplements called vegie buddies. You buy them from the health shop, she thinks there lollies and eats them from the box. Also l try giving her half a glass of spirulina each day,has every vitamin in it.Very good for their immune system.Good luck and dont stress to much if she dosent eat its a toddler thing.

Try the flinstone vitamins for kids. You can find them in Walmart near the pharmacy selection. They look like candy and they come in all different flavors. If that doesn't work find out what her favorite dressing is ie ketchup, ranch, bbq sauce etc. put it on the veggies. I tried this with my two year old needless to say she eats ranch and ketchup on everthing from corn to string beans.

Try "Deceptively Delicious" cookbook by Jessica Seinfeld - takes a little planning but you can "hide" veggies in just about anything

I find my 2.5 year old son is more apt to eat things that he helps make. Maybe letting your child help prepare the meal for dinner time will get her more interested in eating something he/she helped make.

I have a cookbook called the Sneaky Chef. It is full of recipes that you use to hide various fruits and vegetables. You can puree the real deal or use baby food. It may sound gross, but they are really good recipes and you would never know there was good stuff hidden in there!

hide it in the potato. kids generally don't get the taste for salad till a little older. all else fails and you still worry ask the health nurse. most kids do it though. they wont starve themselves.

oh yeah yogurt is also a really good thing, try source yougurt with the fruit.  i couldn't get my son to touch fruit of any kind unless it was in those.  with that, he was getting his dairy, fruit, and they are full of probiotics and antioxidents

i have the same problem with my 7 yr old daughter and my 2 yr old son there are only a select few veggies that she will eat so i know your frustration.  my son was also going through a fase where he wopuld not touch any veggies whatsoever.  there is one trick that did get himto eat cauliflower.  what i did was i made him spaghetti and just put in  but i cut it up really small first and then added it in.  it's the same color as spaghetti and he never knew the dif.  also if anyone in the house likes onions, saute some onions and if you are having like meatloaf or anything with ground beef put the sauted onions in that. my daughter absolutely hates onions but she still to this day cannot tell i put them in there.  onions are really good and full of vitamins.  try giving a bit of v8 fusion fruit veggie drinks.  both my kids absolutely love it and it has no added sugar.  there are four different flavours adn they aren't too bad in price.  for fruit, if she will eat  fruit sauces  the motts fruitsations i dop believe they are called are good too.  have you tried steaming veggies and putting like a dill and garlic butter on them?  it tastes really good and hides some of the veggie flavor.  that's about all i can think of at this time.  but i wish you the best of luck

Do you like to bake? There are quite a few ways to add vegetables to a receipe~ especially if it already calls for it.....carrots for carrot cake......zucchini or pumpkin breads.....There are ways that you can make healthy substitions....your husband and you might not like how they taste, but if she is eating them, then who cares? I have done that with my boys~ ages 3&2....I have more problems with my husband~ LOL

I do know that there is so much stress to have your child "be a certain way". Try not to worry about it~ she might be a "silent rebel".....If you force it upon her, she will resisit!

Yogurt dips is a great way to get children to eat fruit!!!!

Will she eat mashed sweet potatoes? I mash them with applesauce and a little apple juice. Or, I will mash them with butter and carrots and maybe add a tiny bit of brown sugar. I also add a little chopped broccoli and superfine cut carrots to my son's rice. Another thing is adding peas and carrots to mac and cheese. I also add shredded carrots and a jar of gerber green beans to my meatloaf now. His favorite treat is carrot and zucchini muffins for breakfast. You have to get creative and keep trying. Experts say it takes 10 tries to accept a new food. My son loves the V8 Fusion, blueberry pomegranate juice. It has a full serving of vegetables. I'm also giving him a children's multivitamin every day. Good luck.

i would say maybe try the V8 fusions juices, they have a full serving of fruits and veggies in one serving of the juice, and they only taste like fruit not veggies.
