Try hiding the medication in a small amount of applesauce. The trick to hiding it in any food is to limit the amount to a spoonful or two. Feed her a bite that is plain and then slip in a bite or two with her meds. By the time she realizes it tastes a little different the meds will be down and she can have another plain bite to chase it.

Another trick if the medicine is a solu-tab or liquid is to give it in the back of her cheek as she's starting to wake up in the am (she needs to be awake enough not to choke but groggy enough not to fight it.) My 2 yr old daughter is on a daily prescription for a chronic condition and this is now part of our daily routine.

I have the same problem, she only lets her dad do it. He uses a infant dropper, and shots its as far back in her mouth as he can, that way she tastes it less. I even let her try to drink it from a straw.  We also told her if she does not take the medicine from the doctor that she can get sicker and have to stay in the hospital.   We have gone through her gagging on it til she threw up.  We stayed calm and rubbed her back telling her she was ok when she did that.
