my son is almost 4 and will not stay in his own bed all night, my daughter who is almost 2 will!

My four year old is the same way, yet my 2 year old stays in bed all night. My 4 year old wakes up atleast twice to come on my bed, I just take him back. It's a normal thing, maybe its because he's probably your first born, and more babied than your 2 year old, atleast I think thats the case with mine. You should try making a big deasl out of his bed. A childcare specialist once told me to buy new sheets, maybe of a character he really loves and add details he might love like a pillow you know he'd go crazy for or a toy and praise his bed all day for example : WOW look thats your bed, what a wonderful bed, (your childs name)'s bed is so great, and comfy and cozy." Something along those lines.
