Hang in there! I'm not sure I'd go 'cold turkey' on the bottle, but my kids have never had bottles so it's hard to say. Maybe just once or twice at a time when he seems to need it the most (like bedtime) and the rest of the time he can have his milk at mealtimes in his sippy and water or watered down juice (once or twice a day) in between meals. If he doesn't like the sippy he won't be drinking as much milk and will, hopefully, start eating more real food. Sometimes it's hard to do what we feel is best for our little ones when they don't seem to agree. :) Hard to be a mommy.

well try putting sum veg ect in wiv th noodle or rice

maybe he dont like his high chair av u tried him wiv a lil chair and table of his own or a booster chair at th table she he could feel like he at th table as a family

yeah i would take him of th bottle n give him a sippy

Yeah, especially if he's filling up on milk then it's time to get rid of the bottle. He's not getting his nutrition that he needs. Try something sweet like cubed baked sweet potatoes with a little (tiny bit) of brown sugar on top. Or green beans cut small, steamed baby carrotts cut small (a little brown sugar would be on ok these too). Applesauce is another good one. Just keep trying different things until you find a few that he likes. Once you've got him eating a little more real food, then get him off the bottle (so that he's not getting too much new stuff at one time). You're gonna need lots of patience though....This is all I can think of to tell you! I'm sorry! You're starting late so it's gonna be harder for you than if you had gotten him used to it sooner. You might also want to speak with a nutritionist if your ped office has one. They could probably better help you than anyone on here can. If you don't have one at your ped office, try the local Health Department. That's where we see the nutritionist and she always has great tips for us. Good luck!

ya he has so many cups too just sitting in the cupboard i have to get him off it! because all he is doing is filling himself up on milk, he's always asking for baba so when he says that maybe thats when he's hungry n time to feed him

At his age, he should be eating 3 meals a day with a few snacks in between. You just have to be patient. Unless your doctor says there is another issue, here's what you should do. Put the food on his tray and explain to him that "This is your food. If you throw it on the floor, it's all gone." If he throws it on the floor then get him out of the high chair and try again awhile later. He will not starve. He will eat when he's hungry. Just make sure you are giving him small bites that he can easily chew. You also need to get him off the bottle alltogether, in my opinion. The longer he has it, the harder it will be to get him off it. For that, try putting his milk in a sippy or at his age, he would do fine (eventually) with a regular cup. Good luck girl! well sometimes he will eat maybe once a day, n everything that he does want to eat has no nutrition like nbodles he will eat all the time n rice ok thats about it

im having th same problem ith my daughter who 2yr and th problem with her eating sine she was 11months yes its very stress ful i agree my lil girls lost weight since she last got weighed last august she now down 2 20lb wich int good i got told her weight is a majore problem but may be affected by her behaviour so the health vistor gng strt dng 1 to 1 work with her to get her to eat n behave .mi daughtr not on a bottle but on th dummy arh that dummys a night mare i would take him to your health vis
