Need help in potty traing!

Hi. I m new in moms circle.. And I have 4 yr old daughter who is still not potty trained... I m very very much worried abt her... Its been couple of months I've started her potty training... I take her to potty seat and she sits from time to time in whole day I don't let's her wear any diaper all day long but she didn't wee whole day even the day gets over ....I don't know wat to do..plz help me... I ve done stickers n candies all that stuff but no help. Today from afternoon 12 o clock till night 9 pm I did the same taking her to bathroom n asking her if she feels anything ... She controls her pee n deny to wee in toilet she sits and says ok i ll do but times passes but than she gets up n leave toilet...

Maybe she is not comfortable to pee in the toilet, have you tried actual potty? For me what helped (but only if my daughter actually had to pee) was to put the sink tap on so it trickles, she would start peeing within seconds. Whatever you do, don;t make a big deal out of it, if she doesn't pee after few minutes, dress her and congratulate her for trying and just try again in an hour or so.
I got this advice when I was thinking about potty training (my daughter was 1,5 years old at teh time so I don't know does it apply to older kids) - to first put underwear and then a diaper - that way a child is aware of beeing wet when they pee since the diapers are so absorbant they don't actually feel it. I guess thats how they get the idea why it is beneficial to do it in the toilet.
