I just offer him a tissue every time I see him doing it. He stops right away.

This is sooo funny because my son is almost 2 and he just started this. When i see him picking at it i just say no ewwww!!!.. and i look away from him and dont make it a bigger deal, i notice he stops right after that. Good luck.

Grab a tissue or toilet paper (showing them how much - one sheet of tissue or a few of the toilet paper) and show them how they can use it to clean out their noses. Tell them that this is the proper way to clean out their nose. The more you pay attention to it, the more they will do it. Just say something like: that is yucky to pick your nose, here is some tissue, it will clean your nose better, and then you can throw it away."
Hope this helps - my kids think its cool to use tp to clean their noses,and they feel 'grown up' lol Another fun thing is to make or get them little kerchiefs just for them to use, and show them how to use it, and how they can tuck it in their pocket for the next nose cleaning.

my 3 year old picks his nose and eats it, i tell him it is gross and he says "me like it mommy" i would like to know also what to do

my son oicks his nose to and when I tell him not to he thinks it's funny
