Obviously my son can’t write too ( not yet anyway ) so I can scribe too for him in the time being. I think this is a lovely idea with us exchanging letters, art, photos, gifts, etc…..

My almost 3 & 1/2 year old son has decided that he'd like a pen pal, he absolutely loves sending and receiving mail!
He's a fan of climbing, running, dinosaurs, Iron Man, Spiderman, animals, playing in the dirt, and eats non stop. Typical boy really.
I also have a 10 month old daughter (lol bit young for a pen pal?) and would be interested in becoming a pen pal myself, if anyone is interested.

Anna speaks portuguese but she studies in a bilingual school, so, she can understand english too!

Gee what an exciting idea. We live in Aceh, Indonesia, where the gigantic tsunami hit in December 2004. I have a 2 yo daughter who love to sing, dance, scribble and make friends--and I guess she would be thrilled to have a friend from abroad. This would definitely be fun to do. However, I don't know who has a pen pal already and who doesn't. I know it don't matter how many pen pals you have, but I just don't want to leave anyone out unintentionally. :) Anyway, I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. I would like for both of them to have pen pals. I would sort of like them to have a pen pal that was not from the United States. I'm icelandic and her father is danish and we all live in Denmark - so she's a real skandinavian ;)



How would this work? Would I write a few things about what she has been up to and then she would draw someting or make something? :)

Here is SC, I have children who love mail.....this is a reat idea.Ages 3-11.....would love to find another Mom to exchane info with. My dauhter LOVES to write and draw. The kids owuld love this idea. My husband family is ori from Scottland, so it would be really cool to find someone who knows somethin about SCottland or lives/used to live there. It would be a reat way to learn about different areas of our world.



My kids have a reane of interests....one loves technoloy and gamin, one loves books, they all love to draw and write......quite a wide area of personality rane!!

I love this idea. I am about the only person I know that still sends out hand written letters to relatives and friends. Everyone else just uses e-mail. As a kid I found it much more exciting to get an actual letter rather than a typed virtual piece of paper. I would love for my kids to have that same feeling. I have a 7 yr old daughter and a soon to be 6 yr old son with autism. My daughter LOVES to write letters, most of which say her name over and over, but she also lets me write some for her. She tells me "Mama, sit down and write the stuff I say" lol. We live in Germany, but if anyone is still looking for a pen pal around my kids ages, please feel free to send an e-mail to seattle639@yahoo.com. My native language is English, but I can also speak quite a bit of not quite gramatically correct German. Kids of all ages (moms too) are all welcome to e-mail me. lol.
