I have a 3 year old daughter who loves to draw all over the wall. She will sneak away with what ever she can find, and no room is safe. I am at my wits end with this hobby of hers, I got her some colouring books and take time out to colour with her to try to encourage the right behaviour, but as soon as my back is turned she is off again. Does anyone have any suggestions please.. Lisa

There are also child easel's. It has paper with it that rolls down and she can color on, or if she wants a surface there's the dry erase board underneath. It comes with the dry erase markers and has pockets/pouches to hold things in. Or I think they still make the chalkboards that are on an easel I'm trying to remember. Maybe something like that would work too?

Thanks, never thought of that will give it a try. Love the chalk idea, so much easier to get off surfaces.

Not sure if this will help or hinder, but could you create an area on the wall in maybe a toy room or a room where she plays a lot in. You could put up either a big area of paper on the wall or you could paint the area with chalkboard paint (hint:calk is easier to get out of stuff). Explain this is the only area where she may draw on and if you find her drawing on other areas where it is not allowed then that area will be taken away. It might help because it does give her one area where she is permitted to color. On the other hand it is allowing her to color on the wall (even though it is on paper or calkboard). You know your child best and would know better if this idea would work or not.
