Huge control issue potty training my almost 3 year old. How do we teach her that she has the control in ways that motivate her to start going potty more frequently? And eventually become potty trained. She's ready in every way except for the fact that she won't give up the control. I think peer pressure would be a huge help for her, but we don't have any kids around her age. She does great for about two weeks, then she stops. How do I get her past that two week mark and get to the goal of being potty trained?

there are different ways to do this. A reward system sometimes works but not always (as we have found out), just putting them into undies and taking her to the potty every so often works on some kids, also the one we have found for our daughter is having someone like a friend at daycare or someone she looks up to take her to the potty when they go and help them get over the possible fear of using the potty or just to understand their body better. These are some ideas that I got when we started potty training our little one hope they help you.
