I have a 3 year old girl, she is fully potty trained during the day, but at night she still wets her pull up. She usually doesn't drink anything after 7pm to 8pm. I don't know how to get her to wake up to go to the bathroom. She goes right before bed and as soon as she wakes up, but usually 90% of the time, she wakes up wet. Any ideas?

My oldest will be 5 next week...she only recently (a month or so ago) started going to bed with underwear instead of a pull up. The first few weeks we switches, we would get her up in th emiddle of the night and take her to the bathroom. About 2 weeks ago we quit doing that and she usually makes it through the night. Occasionally she'll get up on her own to go to the bathroom. I think us getting her up helped her to realize she's allowed to get up to go to the bathroom. Before this, I don't think her bladder was ready to go that long. My 3 1/2 year old has kidney reflux. It will be a LONG time until she can go to bed without a pull up.

I have a 3 yo boy who does exactly the same as your daughter. I am not worried because night training is completely separate from day toilet training and they say that your child will become dry at night when they are ready. I have heard that this can be anywhere up to the age of about 7 but usually between 3 and 5. save yourself the stress and stock up on pull-ups! there is nothing you can do to hurry up the process other than what you are already doing
