Preparing for birth after still birth

I lost my baby girl 9 days before my due date. She was born Jan 7 2010. I am now pregnant (and going to deliver at the end of next month) with my second baby girl. I was wondering, who else has been through a pregancy after still birth and how did you cope? I almost feel disconnected from this pregnancy. Not that I don't love her, because I do...it just feels like its not real or like I'm going to have the same experience. This makes it hard to get excited for her birth. Did anyone feel this way or am I just going crazy?

i am going thru this now i lost myut dont know the sex yet lil girl 2 weeks before her due date and preg with my 2nd baby b

I am so sorry for your loss. While I have not had a still birth, I have had a misscarriage. I have three girls now. When my first daughter was 4 years old, I had a misscarriage. When she was 5 years old, I gave birth to my second daughter. It was very hard to be pregnant again. You can rejoice in the blessing that you have a beautiful baby girl coming your way. Take it day by day! Congrats! And remember you are not crazy. Your feelings are YOUR feelings and you have the right to have any feelings. Try to stay focused on your newest addition. It will never go away but I promise it will get easier.
