Now I've kind of noticed some people have put pictures of their kid naked..I mean bare butt showing no front showing or anything but if you think about it is it really a good idea to do that? cause in reality how do you know who is looking at those pictures knowing there is perverts out there who haven't been caught and have access to a computer. I took pictures of my daughter with her bare butt those cute little moments but they are to be left in a photo album..NOT online. Just wondering what everyone's opinion is on this.

Of course not! It should be illegal to put up pictures of naked kids. Especially if they don't know you're doing it!

I'm sensitive to this issue because I'm commercially using photos in that style (taken by the mother of the kids I invented it for) to publicize my non-irritating bath foam (US pat. 5,336,446).

So I have to ask, what would be the harm if a MILLION perverts all over the world saw the photo in question? How does it hurt your daughter, as opposed to when all the other people see it? Since the only difference is in the viewer's mind, what's the big deal?

I have naked birth pics of my kids, but I cropped them first. ;) When we had a pool party w/ my little nephew... he was naked. I cropped his butt out of any pic I could and if I couldn't crop it.... it didn't go online.

I have pics of my daughter in the tub on my facebook page. but the tub is full of bubbles up to her armpits (well, okay, not *quite* armpits, but chestish area) and you can't see anything. Besides that, I only have family members and close friends on my facebook with everything set to "friends only". I have naked pics (the innocent kind of course!) but they're kept private, not even facebook for those ones!

.im not sure but i heard someone got her kids taken away just for taking naked pictures of her kids and it was completely innocent she didnt mean anything by it at all...but thats just what i heard im not sure if its true..... Its hard to say if something is true or not I've never heard of anyone getting their kid taken away for taking innocent pictures and NOT posting them as long as they are in a photo album and kept private I don't see the harm. But posting online is a totally different story.

I agree. I wouldn't post pictures of my own naked butt online so why would I post my daughter's?
