my son still drinks vitamin D (whole milk) we tried 2% 1% and fat free milk and all of those make him sick =( so his dr said to stick with whole milk

That's up to you. Soy milk is a good alternative if they can tolerate it and like the taste. Also raw milk is best for them if you want to go that route but that's up to you.

I started my son on 2% when he was two years old. Unless your daughter is underweight, switching isn't an issue. If she needs to gain weight then you should keep her on the whole milk. Otherwise, 2% or 1% will still give her all the nutrients she needs.

WIC says at two years old you can go down on milk percents if you choose too.. We give our son 2% and he loves it!

She is 2 years old and I don't know if she still needs vitamin D milk. If not, what kind of milk should I give her?
