I have been looking like mad for a carseat and stroller system in a decent price range that doesn't require you to purchase all the accessories as well!!! I need a more rugged system that can handle trails and terrain but that is not too big and bulky...any suggestions on the what has worked for you? and has anyone tried the Quinny system which has 4 wheels? any feedback would be awesome!

I used the Chicco system. I walk to work everyday on a trail and it is still in great condition. The carseat has lots of padding so baby is comfortable and the stroller has an adjustable handle so that mom is comfortable.

I liked my graco travel system-it was really convient to click the carset into the base in the car and then use it either as a carrier or clip it into the stroller- we are way passed that stage now but still use the stroller frequently-however it is a little heavy so don't bring it if you are doing a lot of subways-but I reccomend getting the one handed steer (worth the little extra you might pay (this was two yrs ago)
) and the one handed collapse. Just make sure you double check the recall list before you buy anything-some models have the car seat recalled and some the stroller- this true for any brand I have ever looked up- and I made spreadsheets comparing about 30 strollers before I decided on one-first baby-you get a little crazy LOL

Hey I used the Graco travel stroller it comes with the carseat and base and stroller, I used the single one for my oldest than switched to the double when I had my youngest it works well especially for trails
