I'm having a hard time with my son, he won't give up formula for milk, I've tried everything, I've done the 2 oz to 6oz formula, I've done 1oz to 7 oz of formula, I've I have tried just straight milk, but he won't drink it, he went off the bottle and is on cups, but won't give up his formula, when he drinks milk he makes gagging noises till he throws up the milk he drank 😐 Any ideas to get past this hiccup? I have even tried watering down the milk.

I am currently starting whole milk as well. She is also having a hard time taking the whole milk. But one thing that seems to work sometimes is using it as a reward. She is only allowed 2 full bottles a day (via pediatritian). So we dont give her one until she has eaten a good meal. Also we add a little Karo syrup to it to helo prevent constipation whole milk sometimes causes.

Are you serving it at the same temperature as the formula, if so maybe try serving it either cooler or warmer. I can't imagine he really noticed one ounce in 7 ounces of formula. Maybe switch to a Stage 2 formula or try soy milk?
