Does anyone know how to get my almost 2 yr old to stop throwing food on the floor and at people?? Also throwing his sippy cup?? I've tried just taking his food from him and saying he's done, but the next time he eats he'll just do it again. Same goes for his sippy cup. Expecially when he gets mad...he will throw his cup at me. HELP PLEASE?!?!?!

We've tried the time out thing and he doesn't want to stay in his time out spot. He keeps getting up. So I really don't know what to do about that either. He is truely a hand full for me :/

it's time for Time-Outs! 2 minutes. stick w/it, be calm and consistent. he won't get it the first few times, then he will. just keep it short and efficient. i use the stairs in our house as our timeout spot. calmly, put him in his spot, tell him why he's sitting, walk away, 2 minutes later, come back, explain why, tell him it's time to say he's sorry, hug, move on w/the day. their little minds can't hold on to these things for long, so no point in discussing it past that. and leave his messes for him to help clean up as well. it's really not as fun cleaning them as it is making them, he'll soon find out.
be consistent and calm.
