Start by placing her on the toilet when she most likely can't resist going; for example, when she wakes in the morning and for naps, try to take her immediately to the bathroom. Also, try putting her on the toilet before bath time; if nothing happens, but her in the tub for a few minutes, take her out and place her back on the toilet; if nothing happens, give her the bath and try the toilet again. Something about warm water that relaxes the kids and makes them want to go. Once she gets used these routines, she may understand better throughout the rest of the day. Oh, try letting her watch you go. Then tell her, okay, it's your turn. I hope some of this helps. Good luck!

Do you have a rewards system in place? We used the sticker system for my daughter, but it took trying to impress someone other than mommy or daddy in order to get her to go that first time. Good luck!

When i started toilet training my son, when i was at home i would just leave his pants off and undies, then he would start telling me that he needs to pee, and i also just sat him on the loo even if he did do anything and when he did i would tell him how good he was and he got a sticker. It only took him 2 weeks to get the hang of it and then a month he was fully trained. One thing i really advise is to keep a potty in the car for when she needs to go (poo) when your driving. Good luck
