When did everyone start using conditioner on their toddlers' hair? We just use baby shampoo for our 2.5 year old but his scalp seems to be itchy and dry and I wondered if conditioner would improve it?

I use baby shampoo, and in the winter (I live in Northern Ontario Canada) I use conditioner since the air is so dry and humidifiers dont do too much in our place. It did make a big difference on my son's hair when I used it.

I started using the spray leave-in once my daughters hair got long but she hasn't had a problem with a dry scalp.

I started using conditioner when our daughter was about your child's age. I also use a leave in conditioner every 2-3 days which helps a TON. It can make a difference too with the shampoo you choose to use. Paul Mitchell has one designed for small children. It works wonders and DOES NOT hurt if it gets in the eyes.
