My three year old was only shoing 27m on the hight and weight charts. The Doc sent her for a bone age test and it came back at only 18m old. Now we have to go to see a specialist to see what is going on. Has anyone been through this before? Any Ideas about what could be going on?

Ihave twins girls who at yr check up were 33inches and about 30 lbs. And theyare very big girls. doesn't seem to be much bigger than your 2 1/2 yr old. And my twins have had no health problems and were very big at birth weigh in at 8lb 11oz and 8lb 3oz adn there is nothing wrong with them. They are not small at all

My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and is only 31 3/4 inches tall and just barely 25 pounds. Now she also had some health issues since birth and after seeing many specialists, she was diagnosed with Noonans Syndrome. They tend to be small for their age but are usually born with some kind of heart defect. But i do know someone whos daughter was not diagnosed until she was 6 and they had no idea. Not trying to concern you, but these kids are very small!! We had genetic testing done. Good luck and i hope everything turns out ok....some kids are just small.
