im planning to send my 2/1/2 yr old daughter o a play school..but im just worried wether she wud handle everythin independently...shes so attached to me...she just starts cryin goin to a play school...im even worried cos she wud have to wake up early and go in this hot weather...

My kids started at a toddler program at 1 year... a mommy and me... and then at age 2 1/2 they started the pre-school program (nursery)... children are very adaptable and are at the right age to learn about friendships and understanding instructions in a learning environment... I have seen a huge difference in the children starting Kindergarten (age 5 - 6) without any pre-school or nursery, and they are at such a disadvantage to those who have had at least 1 year of nursery / pre-school experience.

find a group of moms that have children the same age... arrange a few park dates or inside playdates (if the weather is too hot) and get her aquainted with her "new" friends... she'll adjust...
