My daughter is 2 and half and wants to now use a booster seat in the car rather than her baby seat. I think this is too young but have tried her in a booster and she is well behaved. would appreciate any advice from other mums.

Check your states regulations on booster seats.
As long as she is being good, and it is with in your states regulations you should be good. REMEMBER!! She is a toddler and they do get curious. She will, at some point, unbuckle her seat belt. Just explain she could get hurt doing that. One talking to about that is usually good enough.
