I either put on my mp3 player and listen to some of my favorite music, or I read short story or a magazine. My favorite though it my walks I get to go on when I have my mommy time a couple of times a week.

I like to meditate. It's easy you just breath in through your nose and breath out through your nose. And just think/ or say breath in when you're breathing in, and think/say breath out when you're breathing out. This helps me a lot. It doesn't seem like much, but more you do this you will relax more. And you can do this anytime even if you are with your kids.

sounds kind of crazy but when my daughter goes down for her nap i turn the tv and anything else off and just sit and enjoy the quiet, or if my daughter is throwing a fit 9 times out of 10 if i turn the tv off she quiets down

I turn my tub into my own bubble bath world! Lol... I put in a few drops of lavender oil for a soothing and indoor aromatherapy. With a couple of lighted candles and soft music, you'll be in your own spa. Don't have to travel to get to one! :)

I love my morning shower. I turn the heat wayyyy up and just stand there. It is my few moments of relaxation. I am usually interrupted but even if I get two minutes of peace, I am happy!

I love to read and find there is nothing more relaxing then to curl up on the lounge with a good book and hot drink.

Where I live, there are wild flowers all over So i go for walks and make myself bouquets. They are so pretty that they make me stop thinking of the things that were making me stress.

A quick foot rub usually works for me. If you have a few more minutes, a 15 minute very warm bath with epson salt soothes the muscles and mind as well.

I like to light candles and just relax ,I started reading a really good book called eat, love and pray its a really good read, also maybe look into some yoga classes I bought a mat and a beginner dvd and found the breathing exercises are really good to shed away stress.

My favourite is a nice relaxing bath with a glass of wine (when I used to drink). Grab a book and make yourself a cuppa. I do card making as well.

Try laying back and taking deep breaths...always breath out for longer than you breathed in...you will feel relaxed after a couple!! And then if you have enough time try lighting a scented candle and either doing something you never get chance to such as reading a chapter of a book or just to kick back and lay there and everything else can wait!!!
You could try putting on some soothing music as well and just close your eyes and let your imagination wander!!!

Hope it helps x
