My 5 year old is jellous of the time I spend with the baby. What can I do to include her? One thing I thought of at night was to read to only her after nursing and putting the baby to bed. Any other ideas? She gets really aggravating sometimes wanting to get in between me and the baby. I was nursing LO and I asked her to sit on the couch and I would put him to bed and come to her, but that was not good enough for her. She aggravated the situation by standing and hovering over me and the baby and making noise and she would not do as I asked her to do by sitting on the couch. The baby bit me, and I got really angry and she was then disciplined, instead of me being able to give her the attention she wanted. She just does not understand.
