I have a two year old. She hasn't really become overly obsessed with any one toy or type of toy. I'd love to hear what is on your toddler's wish list for Christmas. I need some ideas.

My son is 23 months. He's getting a toy drum with other instruments inside (tamborine, bells etc.), mega blocks, toy cars and books.

We got our 18 mnth old a book, ABC and 123 flashcards, a new baby doll and a stroller, a big bad of blocks, a potty, a mickey/minny mouse table and chairs set for outside during the summer, clothes, an elmo remote (it is great!!), my mom is getting her new bedding for her up and coming toddler bed being introduced after christmas :) like a few other mom's said, a little kitchen would be great! my niece loves it and we are planning on getting her one soon, and also a little toy vacuum that actually makes noises like a real one, my toddler LOVES the vacuum!! she helps us vacuum up the bird seed and other things... she thinks its hilarious... umm, u could also get her a little cd player for kids, my 2 1/2 yr old niece and my daughter loves music too!! they love to dance their booties off lol they also have those Vtech or Barbie laptops too... they are great for kids to goof off on and when they are a little older and realize what they can do, they are great for learning! good luck!

Well ebay has come to my rescue this year for Christmas. I have in the past years bought them toys, as some of them not cheap, from the shops. With many of these toys they found the box more interesting, and lost interest in them rather a lot quicker than I expected. Now they are 12 months older, I decided to see how my ebay purchases went down with my 2 toddlers aswell as having a healthier bank balance. Now that my girls are 3 they are getting into the pretend / dress up play. So I have managed to get items for cooking, kitchen furniture, the biggest play tent I have ever seen. All of these items are good quality for a fraction of the cost of buying new. My kids don't know they are pre-loved, and honestly they wouldn't care. Recycling rules!

My daughter likes the bounce and spin pony we got her last year by fisher price. Also, the musical sit & spin was a hit with her too. A kitchen with some food/shopping cart are really big hits with the little girls in our circle.

We got my son a bounce and spin zebra for his birthday this year and he loves that too.... Great buy on our part :-D

Caedyn is 19 months, he's getting three different sets of blocks, an elmo steering wheel thing, an elmo movie from my mom, this weird puppy thing that sings songs and such, and some more stuff I haven't bought yet.... We're also getting him a membership to the Zoo and the WOW Museum, but I don't know that he'll really understand those. Also some clothes and new books (mostly because Mommy and Daddy are sick of the books he's got lol). He's SO SPOILED!!!!!!!

my daughter is 2 1/2, and she loves to try and take pictures with my camera, but i'm always afraid if i leave her alone with it, i'll come back and it will be broken. This year i got a one of those digital cameras made just for toddlers. Mine's from fisher price, but some other brands are making them too, and for cheaper (as i found out after i made my purchase). But i think it is something she will use for a long time, so i didnt mind throwing down the 50 bucks. Other than that, my boyfriend found this cute cat ears and tail set at world market (they also have other animals like a giraffe and stuff) and we got her a puzzle, an outfit, a couple dvd's and small stocking stuffers.

Our 3 y-old daughter is getting a digital camera for kids, a microphone (she loves singing and performing for us!) and a make up set. We also got her an extra gift as she said she wants to give Santa her pacifiers in exchange for a gift, so we got her a hair stylist belt (hair dryer, comb, etc,,,).
To our 2 month old we have only bought some clothes, and I'll probably get a little something else, something nice from lamaze, tiny love or similar, but nothing big.

I think toys that are interactive and develop fine motor skills are great for a 2 yo. I would suggest building blocks, wooden puzzles, any thing musical.

My DD is 24 months and she is getting a bucket of bugs that we can build different bugs with and some books.

My daughter is 19 months old and seems to really like trains, music and dolls. So I got her a small starter train set, a keyboard, a drum set, and a baby bath doll (she threw in her non-bath dolls in the bath and they are now ruined), in addition to more board books as she is expanding her vocabulary every day!

[deleted account]

also, my mother in law got her a little cart full of fake food... kids really will love anything that resembles what mommy and daddy have and use around the house... they want to be just like u at that age and are trying to become independent

Hi,

I have a 2 year old girl and this year we are getting her baby dolls and stuff for them (crib, stroller, ect) I figure even if she is not 100% into them right now she will be at some point. she has seemed more interested since her baby sister was born.

Our children must not be the same at all. My little angel is 26 months so a little older. She got her kitchen for her 2nd birthday and has loved it from the start. Cooking me things all the time- pretend things of course. I also thought she was to young for a doll a relative gave her the baby alive doll that eats real food- we haven't been brave enough for the real food yet. She carries her talking baby around and tells her it's ok mommy's got you. She gives her her bottle and feeds her with the spoon even atemps to change her diaper. She really surprised me on that one. All kids that age seem to love musical instruments we have a drum and a backyardigans quitar that seems to be favorites around here too.

Your lucky- my two year old is very discriptive with what she wants- the purple talking ho ho doll at target and certain things like a blue whistle and red car..lol my daughter talks alot and is very picky so it's easy for me to buy cause i know just what she wants..she did ask santa for a plate full of pancakes though- guess i will have to make some christmas morning for her. She loves her baby alive doll that she got for her birthday. A wooden train set would also be good- a toy kitchen all good things for a 2 year old

A clipboard, he loves coloring and drawing. Flash cards, nothing seroius but he likes looking at the pictures and saying what they are.
