We have great tickets to go watch the TX Rangers this sunday. I am undecided as to whether we should take our almost 22 mo. old along. one of my big concerns is the noise level. ive seen babies at sporting events before and remember thinking it was just too loud for their tender ears. would my toddlers ears be at risk? i doubt she would leave plugs in her ear, and i would have to research that idea. its also close to her bed time so who knows if she would be fussy or entertained. I can always have my mom or mom in law watch her, but i would hate to regret not taking her. so what are your thoughts? any of you who have taken their little ones to the game..... what was your experince like? bad idea or not? regrets?

so true Colleen. yes she is my first. i have decided to leave her at home with my mom. I think it will be more fun for all of everyone. thanks !

In my experience with 22 month olds there always on the go. As a mom I understand the feelings of guilt when leaving a child home and I'm guessing this is your first child. I will say I think he would probably have more fun at home with your mother in law and your and your husband would also. You need to have some time to yourself. I wouldn't say there's any harm in him going. Good luck in whatever you decide.

We've taken my son to a Red Sox game when he was about 2, he was fine. It was a night game so we ended up leaving around the 7th inning because he was starting to get cranky and we had a long drive home. I don't think a baseball game would get too loud but that's just me.
