what can you guys recommend and is this common? My son recently started school and his only 3. now the only issue i have with my son is that even though he behaves well at school, listen to his teacher and so on, the problem if he see another kid that has something that catches his attention he thinks is already his, he take it get. sometimes when he get frustrated he gets it with me and has his lil trantrum at school, he does not do it often just a few days ago for the first time. another thing he plays well with other kids, so is only when he wants a toy or something that he just has to have. when the teacher tell me this i feel so horrible because i try so hard and being that i have a daughter as well that she 1 and sometimes he get like that we her but other time he does not. again everything else even his nap time is great but just that which has me completely out of solutions.

Oh Lesly, it's so normal at this age! Children don't master sharing until around 5-6 years old. So this is completely developmentally normal that he may still struggle with it at times. Just keep reminding him that "We don't take toys away, give it back please." or tell him "Let's wait our turn."

Tantrums are also very common at this age! He doesn't know how to control his strong emotions yet. Just tell him: "I will help you when you calm yourself down" and ignore them until he calms himself down. When he is calm, say: "Ok. Now I can help you!" :))
