I cook raw chicken thigh (bone and skin in still), put it in a pot with just enough water to surround the chicken, with white onions diced very thin so when they boil down they just mush into the broth. Then in another pot steam carrots, with peas, green beans until done. On the side while veggies are cooking boil some rice noodles (you can find it in asian markets or asian section of the grocery store) until done, once chicken is cooked through allow to cool, remove from water, save the water (its the most nutritious part because of the enzymes in it. Then when chickens cool enough to rip, you take it off the bone and dice it up. Take the veg, chicken, noodles, enough of the broth to just add moisture to keep the noodles soft while stored, combine in a tupperware container to make a 2-3 day portion worth of food, with some sea salt to taste, olive oil and voila, healthy homemade baby chicken noodle soup. :D If you find that the pieces are too hard for them to mouth, you can take the combined soup mix and put it into your blender or magic bullet and puree it too, tastes the same still. I still make this for them, except now that their palette is more developed, I add garlic and ginger to the broth while it cooks.
