easter egg hunt's are always fun for all ages, but if your 8 year old thinks their too old for it, write clues down that they have to figure out then find another clue until they find the 'egg' or whatever you dicide to hide.

Easter egg hunt. :) Take them to a park or picnic area and distract them while someone is hiding the eggs. This would be fun to invite some friends or family a long and have a little Easter picnic. Just by the plastic eggs and fill them with age appropriate items. Maybe use larger eggs for the younger kids and set the older child after the smaller ones so you can avoid a melt down if the younger kids get some candy they shouldn't have. Coloring Easter eggs is fun. If you haven't already visited with the Easter Bunny at a near by mall, that could help get them excited about Easter. :)
