What potty seat do you use for your boys?

Hello ladies!

My 18 month old son is showing signs of readiness for potty training. When I ask if he made a poo poo he points at his butt. When I ask if he made a pee pee he pats his front. He is always following me into the bathroom and loves to be the one to flush. I went and bought a potty chair (Safety 1st brand). I let him take it and play with it for a few days to let him get used to it. He's not afraid of it but when I actually sat him on it I really don't think it will work. He's too big. When I sit him on it the "pee guard" is pressed up to his skin and his butt is not over the bowl part. So I went and got one of the ones that sits on the actual toilet. It's the Munchkin brand. This one makes me nervous though, because it doesn't clip or clamp in any way to the seat. It wobbles every time he tries to climb onto it. We have a small step stool that is the right height but I'm just afraid he will wiggle and fall off the toilet and then won't want to do it. So far, he hasn't gone potty at all yet in any toilet of any kind (adult or kiddie). What training potties did you all use? This is the one part of having a boy that I always knew would stump me lol!

Yeah, I'm trying to teach him the sitting down thing. I just worry that the seat I got that sits on the regular toilet will wobble off when he tries to get up on it. I tried putting him just on the regular seat but he got scared lol

I actually didnt use a potty seat and taught him to pee sitting down (my husband is 31 and still sits to pee) I think its take some pressure off as they dont have to worry about aiming. I bought a thing that converts the regular toilet into a hole small enough for a toddler. It was only like 8 bucks at walmart and worked great.
