My 17 month old little girl got a slight sunburn at the pool today. I know what your thinking..."why didnt you use sunblock?" Well i did...i applied it 2 different times & she still got a little burnt. I'm looking for suggestions for what i should put on it that would be safe for a 1 year old. All suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

We were in Florida for a week and my oldest son got blistered by a sun burn. We put him in the shower and dowsed him down with vinegar and it took the sting out as well as the painful itching that comes later. It doesn't have the most pleasant smell in the world but it works miracles with sunburns.

I would also give her some tylenol or motrin to help her pain at bedtime so she can sleep.

vinager also works well for taking the sting out of a sunburn. I've also heard lemon juice.

i used calamine lotion on my daughter wen she had sunburn on her face it helps with the sunburn and also cools the skin its safe to use on a 1 year old hope it helps x

they have sun burn lotion at the store. i think its banana boat aloe vera or something. you could try that. put it in the fridge though it feels better when you put it on.
