Here lately my 21 month old daughter won't take a nap. She has always been a really good sleeper, but now she just "fights" through it and is a bear by the end of the evening. Any thoughts?

I think you shoul push your child to take a nap regularly, you can try by give her/him activities and try to sleep with your kid also....pretend to close your eyes and make false snore :D it works for me
Because napping is really important, your kids stamina will be fit and the memory also good...may be this website may be useful for all moms http ://www.saramednick.com

for a while, my girls didn't want to nap either. so i instituted quiet hour. :) they would read or play with a dolly or something quiet on their bed. Half the time, they fell asleep anyway. :)

My son stopped taking regular naps around age 2. I tried a few things. First, I let him stay up an extra hour playing in the afternoon then we took a short nap. That worked for a while then he didn't want to nap at all so I changed his bedtime. No nap and I would put him to bed an hour or 1 1/2 hours earlier. Then he would sleep longer during the night.
