4 year old won't go #2 in the potty

My 4 year old is potty trained for #1, but he refuses to go #2 in the potty! He will wait until he has on his night time pull up to go, or he will wait until the morning to go when he still has his pull up on. Please help!

My son did the same thing. It's a total control thing. Does your son stay dry all night? If so, then I would stop putting pull ups on. Let him go in his underwear. I keep telling my son that we don't go poo poo in our underwear. If he's wearing Diego underwear then I tell him that Diego is sad. I encourage him to poop in the potty and we sit there and read stories while he tries. He gets a star for his potty chart and a dum dum lollipop if he goes in the potty. Some kind of reward can help make a difference. Try sitting your son on the potty 20 minutes or so in the evening and again in the morning. Simply tell him that he has to poop in the potty. Stick with the routine and eventually you'll time it right and he'll go for you. Good luck.
