I usually give my son a bottle when he wakes up with his breakfast and today I gave him a sippy cup and hes used his sippy all day and hasnt been cranky for a bottle!

I would say just stop cold turkey. When she wakes up, cuddle her and put her back to bed. She will most likely cry the first night and maybe the second night, but then she'll realize you aren't going to give in and she'll stop. Maybe even comfort herself back to sleep so you don't even know she woke up.

take the plunge and try and cut it out now. it takes 3 nights to break a habit and 3 nights to make a habit. when she wakes go to her rock her give her soft toy etc but not her bottle. she 'll cry you'l be tired but it'll be worth it not to give in. good luck

Thats a good idea, I think im going to have to try that with my son. He turns one tomorrow but hes got 2 teeth and more coming in and I dont want him drinking a bottle during the night with milk and it sitting on his teeth all night. Thanks!

I filled a non spill cup with water. Broke her out of the habit quite easily. Had to remind her that she wasn't getting any milk and I had to be strong and stick to it for the first 2 nights then she was fine. It's a tough thing to do though. Good luck.
