I have been trying for the past 5 months to get my ten month old to try and drink from a sippy cup and she absolutley refuses too! I have tried so many transition nipples, bottles, everything and she will not even try to drink out of them. she drinks out of her one bottle from when she was just born and that is it! I need to get her off that bottle and I dont know what to do anymore. Please help me!!!

My son was the same way for awhile, so we got the Nuk sippy cups, and use the nipple from it on a big Nuk bottle, so its kinda like a compromise lol he loves it and its the only "sippy-cup/bottle" he will use.

I have a straw cup, my daughter has always refused a sippy cup, but she seems to like the straw cup for some reason..

i have trouble with my 20 month old grand-daughter she just refuses to put any kind of cup or beaker near her mouth n will only drink hot chocolate she wont touch juice or water at all but our health visitor has told me not to worry too much as long as she is havin fluids and that she will just use the cup wen she feels ready so i wudnt b too worried just yet

With my daughter we took the bottle away during the day, then she stopped wanting it for naps and then stopped wanting it for bedtime...if they are thirsty enough they will drink. Just try leaving a cup where she can get to it herself with her preferred drink and in the beginning offer it to her every so often. She will get it in her own time :)

I had to get those juice bottle drinks that have the characters on them. They are shaped as a bottle but not. They can be found in the juice aisle at walmart. Or any store I think. They can be called belly washers. Hope this helps.
