Constipation in 15 month olds.

My 15 month old has had constipation issues since she was 3 month old. Her dr tells me she will out grow it, she has been on miralax since she Was 3 months. Instead of decreasing her miralax I have had to increase it. They tell me to cut back when she goes good but when I do she gets very constipated again. She doesn't eat very much to begin with. I switched her milk to lactose free. Hoping it helps. Anyone else going thru the same thing?

My little girl Emma was in so much pain and it was horrible for me to watch so I felt like I needed to give her some form of medicine. My pedi recommended wellements baby move which has prebiotics in it but it's also completely natural. It helped Emma so much!! Good luck!

Thanks Charlotte. She just doesn't eat hardly at all. Im willing to try anything.

My daughter can't do any dairy because it constipates her for a couple days and then she gets really bad diarrhea. We do soy yogurt/cheese too. Her doctor says she should be fine, but every time I test it, it's a bad reaction. Feed her a ton of fruit to help with the constipation...peaches, nectarines, watermelon, prunes, blueberries.
