Curious is your child a daredevil? If so what things do they do?

My son (just turned 3) climbs on everything and jumps off everything, and his baby sister (8 months) is copying, just yesterday she climbed up the ladder on my sons mid-sleeper bed and she climbs the stairs. She tries to climb in the bath, in fact she tries to climb everything she possibly can! i thought a girl would be calmer, clearly i was wrong!!!!!!

My daughter 9 months old at the time climbed out of the crib...even it was on the lowest setting. She also climbed up and down full sets of stairs at that age, she uses the handles on the kitchen drawers as a latter and has been found sitting on top of counters. She also will push the chairs up to the table climb up on them and then onto the dinning room table. A few weeks ago I found her outside sitting on top of the outside glass patio table..playing Polly pockets because her older sister thought if she put them there baby sister couldn't get them....man was she wrong. Maddy is a complete daredevil and dives off of everything, climbs everything and is into everything. I can hardly run to the bathroom for fear she is going to be doing something she shouldn't. It scary...having a wild child.......good luck with yours...and when you find some solutions will you let me know..lol..I sure could use some too :)

My son is ten months old likes to climb up his gates, pack n play, and on and into his jumper. We took him to he park and he tried to climb up everything, problem is he couldn't get down.

My son, who is going to be 29 (2  1/2) this month. Was able to climb the rock wall at the park, most of the bars to get up on the jungle gym around 14 months. He would try to climb down himself. The jungle gym is either 7ft or 8ft off the ground. We always let him try to do things himself if he can do it then great if not then it was nothing to worry about.

my son is 16 1/2 months and he is a major daredevil. he jumps off the couch a lot. he must have a really hard head because he never cries when he hits his head. it's like it doesn't even phase him anymore. lol. he takes off running and then just slams into the door on purpose. he walks around with a blanket over his head until he runs into something and then just laughs about it. and sometimes he'll just stand there and then just lean back like someone is there to catch him, but no one is, and then just hits the ground. and with all this he never cries. he just looks up and laughs. i just fear wut more is to come of all this...its only the beggining.

Im expecting twin boys and almost dreading when they learn to walk and run and take off in two different directions lol

Congrats on the Twins! I remember when  I was breatfeeding my youngest and my oldest was 14 months old would climb up the changing  table and trying to climb the top of the t.v. stand. (we were moving things around when we were living in an apartment) It only took him 32 seconds to do it to and I caught him on video. Good Luck!

Oh yeah my daughter is a daredevil all the time it is non stop but she will jump from the chair's will climb on anything and everything. she will pull out my draws and climb up that like a it ain't nothing. she will run up and down the step's . she climbs on her high chair and swing are put her on self in and when done she will stand up and act like she is about to jump down . i do strap her in but she knows how to get out of it no matter what . oh and she will be 2 in feb ..

Number one child was quiet thank God and as to my 11 month baby I have a horrible feeling she may be heading down the same track as a daredevil because she is the spitting image of her brother, Lord help me!!

Good luck Adrienne, unfortunately you cannot change their nature, just try and control the environment!! LOL!! :)

Oh I try to control their environment best I can! ha ha... My little one hasn't done what your kids have yet but I think he would try. Right now he climbs as high as he can get and doesn't matter if it's dangerous or not. No fear. lol
