Does anyone elses toddler sweat easily?

I was reading in a book to help my son to sleep, that it is normal for children to sweat during their sleep. I believe it stated that in the fifth stage of sleep is when some children sweat a lot. I talked to my doctor to make sure it was correct and she said it was true, just wipe them down if you want or let them be. It does not bother them...I told the doctor it bothers me because I worry that he is uncomfortable.

my son is 16 months n he also sweats alot when he sleeps i was starting to worry but i see that it is pritty common?

my daughter is almost 2 and shes the same way (has been since she was born).im always wiping her down the cool wash cloths and giving her lots of water.i put her in loose clothing during the day and she just sleeps in a diaper.

My 13 month old always wakes up with a saturated head - and no sweat on the rest of her body when she sleeps. Her feed are also very sweaty :)

My son and daughter have always been pretty sweaty especially when sleeping. My son looks like he has had a bucket of water dumped over his head when he is playing outside or even in an indoor bouncy house. Doesn't seem to bother him and that's all I am worried about!

My son does. He's 3 and already needs deordant! His feet stick too because he sweats so much! My son's doctors said it's because he has extra sweats glands and that isn't all that uncommon.

Both my girls are sweaty not as much while awake but definitely when they sleep and they have every since they were infants and would fall asleep on my chest and would soak my shirt.

same here living in south australia its winter atm but during our summer its stinking hot and with as little as getting up n dressed even just a nappy change hes dreanched, at day care i send 3 sets of clothe ones hes in and 2 "spares" usually end up with sweaty clothes to wash when he comes home and they said its commen with some very active little ones, as for at night time i dont check on him as hes a shitty sleeper even the dog farting wakes him up but usually change his pillow case in the mornings anyway :)

My son is 3 and has always sweated quite fast, as you say from the head mostly too. His hair ends up all soaked and stuck to his head, I just keep his hair trimmed and the room as cool as possible, also make sure to use cotton bed sheets/pillow cases as some of the other types can make him sweat much faster. Don't think its anything to worry about, :)

Both my girls did the same thing! (my eldest now 51/2 and youngest is 16 months old). Both from their heads and sometimes feet. Not much that can be done. Like you said, try and keep them cool.
