hi i need help.i have a almost three yr old son who when his father talks or tells him to do something or whatever ,,,,,yells back at him 'no',,,,, mummy all the time..it is so annoying as we have tried everything to stop this ,and for him to see that we are equals ,but if anything it all ends up upseting everyone...does any one have any ideas on how to stop this ...

Our kids have done this as well! We've both experienced it-only mommy or only daddy will do. Since he's preferring you, then step back beside dad and say, no daddy is going to do this for/with you, tell him you love him and leave him be with dad to work it out. Eventually he has no choice in the matter and if he wants it bad enough, he will accept daddy doing things for him. That's what we have done anyhow. Good luck! ;o)

thats very true as he does spend most of the time with me but he and daddy still have there quality time together but that sometimes ends up in a big fight as well

Our little boy, C.J. , does the same thing. He wants me to do EVERYTHING!!! But I think it's very normal if your child is spending more time with you. C.J. has been with me 24/7 for almost 5 years. Just try and get your Husband to spend time with him alone and do fun things with him, maybe he will just grow out of it as he gets older. Hope that helps.
