anyone get the h1n1 vaccine during pregnancy or get it for there baby around 16 months just trying to get more opinions on it and wut kind of symptoms did u or the baby have my doctor advise me to get it just kinda scared of the symptoms for me and my baby

I got it and so did my son, who is 28 months. No symptoms whatsoever. As a pregnant woman, you would get the non-adjuvented needle, which causes no pain.



Keep in mind that the H1N1 flu is NOT like the regular flu. Yes, the regular flu kills people, but those people are ones with underlying illnesses. The H1N1 flu is NOT selective. Extremely healthy and virile people have succumbed to it. At this point, no one has died from the shot, but many have died from the flu.



Hope I helped, but in the end, it IS a personal choice.



Also, your child will have to have two shots. My son goes for his second tomorrow.

Hi, I received the vaccine as well as my son of 19 mths. he did not experience any side effects what so ever. Neither did I. I don't think you really need to worry about the symptoms except what could happen if your baby happens to contract the virus. I think it is a good preventative measure. Good Luck!! :)

Ya know I'm going through the same thing and thoughts but I have decided to get it for my kids because ive thought the symptoms from the vaccine is going to be far less than if they were to get the full blown flu... My parents got the vaccine and they did fine... nothing happened to them.
