I have to pack a lunch for my 2.5 yr old everyday for day care. We use a lot of leftovers from dinner the night before. So, there's usually some cut-up meat, and either some veggies or fruit. We use yogurt a lot, and my hubby will add food coloring to make it different colors - she loves that. We buy Kirkland brand 100% juice boxes from Costco, since my DD won't drink cold milk and I want her to stay hydrated. We sometimes do sandwiches on wheat bread - either cheese and turkey or a PB&J (we actually use sunflower seed butter, since it's healthier and avoids allergies). And sometimes we add cheese sticks, crackers, raisins, or something snacky, too, for after she finishes the rest of her lunch.

Oh and her school has a milk program so we just send her to school with 50 cents so she can buy one instead of giving her juice.

Stock up on the healthy foods and snacks then let them pick when you're making it which they'd like that day. I do this with my 8 1/2 yr old for school each morning and makes things so much easier and the food actually gets eaten so that makes it even better.

Well my son is two dosent hav pack lunch unless its a picnic, but the best I find is 2give them a choice of what they are allowed to eat like cops or a sandwhich witha choice of fillings, & various snacks like crisps, fruit & some times a fubes tube. the drink is easy you just ask what flavour juice they would like.
