hi, my 4 and 3 year olds, keep getting into everthing even if there are locks on the doors, or if i take the door handles of they still manage to get in. i have know idea how to fix this problem can anyone help me please its driving me crazy.thank you

I am in the same boat. I have a 2 year old and she is into everything I've tried a lot of things that didn't seem to work but if you have the patience then tell them no and move them to a new task. It sounds like they are bored. My daughter likes playing with our display items and I tell her "No Jolene, that's mommies.... lets play with ____ thats your toy." It sometimes only works for a minute but my daughter has realized what is hers and what isn't.

I have my house set up so all the cabinets within child's reach are baby and child safe It doesn't bug me if they play with the pots and pans or canned good

Sounds like they need constant and reinforced discipline. They are way to old to be getting into things especially if you are telling them 'no'. You know your child so hopefully you know what works for disciplining them. Whether it's time outs, taking away toys &/or privileges, and/or spankings (which I know will upset some people). The most important part is doing consistence and following thru. It might take awhile like weeks, but as long as you follow thru you should see some improvements. BTW, I have four boys, twin 7 year olds, 4 1/2 year old, and 2 1/2 year old and by being consistent and following thru have no issues with them getting into things. Also, be respectful and firm to your kids and they will be respectful to you, but don't be a push over. Good luck.
